South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Relay For Life Launch Breakfast - Kingaroy
South Burnett Mayor Kathy Duff will be hosting the South Burnett's 2026 Relay For Life campaign with a Launch Breakfast at the Kingaroy RSL Club in Markwell Street, Kingaroy, from 6:00am (for a 6:30am start) to around 8:30am this morning. Retired rugby league star and cancer survivor Darryl Brohman will be the guest speaker at this morning's get-together. Tickets for the breakfast are $35 and can be bought at any South Burnett Regional Council service centre or booked online
Trans-Tasman Woodchopping Showdown - Blackbutt
The special two-day Trans-Tasman Woodchopping Showdown will get under way in the chopping ring at the Blackbutt Showgrounds from noon today. Watch the North New Zealand Wood Chop team take on the Blackbutt Axemen in a series of team races! The bar and canteen will also be open from 5:00pm.
Arts And Crafts Day - Linville
Arts and crafts sessions are held fortnightly on Fridays from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Linville Hall, 40 George Street. Everyone is welcome! BYO craft or just drop in and enjoy a chat.
Women's Soccer - Kingaroy
Round 2 of the South Burnett Women's Football competition will be played this evening at Tom Alford Oval in Kingaroy. At 6:15pm, Kingaroy Easts v Kingaroy Wests; followed by Barambah v South Burnett United at 7:35pm. The canteen will be open with hot food, cold drinks and snacks and spectators are invited to come along and show your support!

MISfITZ - Kingaroy

Bike4Burns Visit - Maidenwell
Firefighters and ex-firefighters taking part in the annual Bike4Burns fundraiser for the Queensland Children's Hospital will be at the Maidenwell Hotel from 5:00pm this evening. There'll be raffles, fun and fundraising! The riders are peddling more than 700 kilometres from Bundaberg to Brisbane.
DJ BR4Z3 - Kingaroy

Murgon to Kingaroy Shopping Bus
Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Murgon and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their address at 8:30am and transport them to the Kingaroy Mall (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey about 11:30am. Tickets on the bus are $15 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Fridays (except public holidays) but places are limited so a booking is necessary. Karaoke Competition - Murgon
The Australian Hotel, at the corner of Lamb and Gore streets in Murgon, is hosting a five-week karaoke competition with the final on June 5. First prize is $500. Tonight is Night 3 with the action starting at 9:00pm. Everyone is welcome and everyone is a star!
Murgon Ukulele Group

Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low-income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $50 or $35 options to select food and the other items.
