Fourplay - Nanango
The Nanango Theatre Company will be putting on two performances today of their latest productions, four one-act plays, at their theatre on the corner of Elk and George streets, Nanango. There'll be a matinee performance at 2:00pm followed by an evening show at 7:00pm. Tickets are $25 for adults or $20 for concessions, and they can booked online. Note: Three more performances - including another matinee - will also be held next week at the same venue.
An Evening With Clarrie & Clyde - Tablelands
- The Tableland Hall Committee is presenting an evening with well-known country music entertainers Clarrie Weller and Clyde Cameron tonight at the hall at 459 Crownthorpe Road, Tablelands. The fun night (bring your dancing shoes!) is part of the hall's ongoing Centenary celebrations. The entertainment will get under way at 5:00pm. Cost is $15 per person, a licensed bar will be operating and food will be available to buy. Unpowered camping is available in the hall grounds. For more information, phone 0400-697-300.
Mini Mods Carnival - Wondai
The South Burnett's annual Mini Mods rugby league carnival will be held at the Wondai Sportsgrounds on the Bunya Highway in Wondai today. This carnival always attracts hundreds of junior players aged from Under 16 through to Under 12 from all over south-east Queensland. The action will start at 7:00am and continue through until around 5:00pm with round robin games played across multiple fields. Spectators and supporters are very welcome! NB. Under 14s and A Grade games will be played tomorrow (Sunday) at Murgon.
Saturday Library Day - Maidenwell
- The volunteers from the Maidenwell QCWA will be supervising the regular weekly Saturday Library Day (featuring books loaned from Kingaroy Library) from 2:00pm to 4:00pm this afternoon. A library day is held in the Maidenwell Hall in Pool Street every Wednesday and Saturday.
South Burnett Quilt Trail
As part of the Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery's Winter Crafts Festival, the annual Quilt Trail "craft crawl" will be running from 9:00am to 4:00pm today and 9:00am to 3:00pm tomorrow at a number of venues around the region.

Proston Country Market
The monthly Proston Community Markets - held on the 3rd Saturday of each month - will be running outside the QCWA Rooms at Railway Park in Rodney Street, Proston from 7:30am this morning. Stalls feature crafts, plants as well as gifts and bric-a-brac. There'll also be a raffle, sausage sizzle and hot and cold drinks. All stalls welcome!
Saturday Night Bingo - Kingaroy

The third Saturday of the month Friendship Markets will be held at Kingaroy Showgrounds in Youngman Street, Kingaroy from 7:00am to around noon today. The markets feature a range of arts, crafts, food stalls, fruit and garden stalls, plus unusual bric-a-brac. New stallholders are always very welcome.
Christmas In July - Wondai

Sled Dog Racing Weekend - Benarkin
Members of Sled Dog Racing Queensland will be holding a race meeting from Forest Drive in the Benarkin State Forest this weekend to race sled dogs. Racing will take place this afternoon and early tomorrow morning across a range of events, with most SDRQ members camping at the Settlers Rest area in Benarkin. Spectators are welcome to come and watch the dogs race and/or find out more information about this unusual club's activities. Look out for the Yellow Sled Dog Racing signs and follow the "SDRQ" arrows.
PCYC Open Day - Murgon

Australian Rules - Kingaroy
South Burnett Saints' three teams will be back in action at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy today against the South Toowoomba Bombers. The U13.5s will be in action at 11:30am, followed by the women at 1:00pm and the men at 2:45pm. Entrance to all games is free and spectators are invited to come along and cheer the local teams!
Christmas In July - Kumbia
- Booked out! Kumbia Hall Committee is hosting a Christmas In July lunch from 11:30am today as "Buy A Stump" fundraiser for the hall at 29-31 Bell Street, Kumbia.
