
Power Up Car Show, Shine & Swap Meet - Nanango
The seventh annual Power Up Car Show & Shine And Swap Meet will be held at the Alan Downie Sports Fields in Burnett Street, Nanango from 9:30am to around 1:30pm today. Public entry is just a gold coin donation! This family-friendly event is a fundraiser for the Nanango Sporting Association. All vehicles, motorbikes and utes from veteran to modern are very welcome to take part. The event will also feature live music and market stalls plus lots and lots of great vehicles to inspect. There'll also be trophies and prizes on offer for the day's winners (public voting will take place from 9:30am to 11:30am and trophies will be presented around 1:00pm. Show & Shine entrants and stallholders need to pay $15 and be parked in the designated area from 6:00am to be ready for the gates opening to the public at 9:30am. There'll also be live entertainment on the grounds, plus free children's amusement while their parents view (and vote on) the entrants in this year's competition. Everyone is welcome!
South Burnett Gem Show Reboot - Wondai
The South Burnett Gem and Fossicking Club will be holding the second day of their two-day Gem, Rock and Lapidary Show at the Wondai Sportsgrounds on the Bunya Highway north of Wondai's CBD from 9:00am to 2:00pm today. The event will feature unique crystal, rock and mineral displays; a dealer pavilion; outdoor stalls and lots of fun for the kids. Food and drink stalls will be operating in the grounds, too. Kumbia Museum

Murgon Sunday Markets
The monthly Murgon Markets will be held in Lamb Street in the heart of Murgon from 7:00am until about 12:00 noon today. Community Pickleball - Woolooga
- Woolooga Community Hall is hosting community pickleball every Sunday from 3:30pm at the hall at 8 Thomas Street, Woolooga. Everyone is welcome to come along, including beginners. All equipment is provided at the court, so just bring water!
Yarraman To Linville Ride
- The South Burnett Mountain Bike Club has organised a cycle ride from Yarraman to Linville along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail from 9:00am today as a fundraiser for Ride 4 Relay (Cancer Council Queensland). Cost is $15 per head with a shuttle bus return available for $40. More information is available online
Senior Soccer - Kingaroy
Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club will be hosting a Division 1 game from the Darling Downs Community competition at their grounds at Tom Alford Oval in Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy, this morning. Kingaroy’s Division 1 team will take on Wests Wanderers at 11:00am. The canteen will be open with hot food and cold drinks. Spectators are invited to come along and support the local team in action!
