South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
South Burnett Careers Market
The annual South Burnett Careers Market will be held at the Kingaroy TAFE College in Geritz Road, Kingaroy from 8:30am to 3:00pm today, in conjunction with the region's high schools. The Careers Market is an excellent opportunity to inspire young - and not so young - people to explore local, regional, State and international employment and training opportunities and there'll be over 30 exhibitors attending including local firms seeking apprentices; universities; plus try-a-trade activities. The day is free and everyone is welcome to attend!
Friday Night Drinks - Manumbar

Kingaroy RSL Bingo

The Kingaroy QCWA will be holding another of their popular Scone Days in their rooms at 122 Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy (just next to the RSL) from 9:00am this morning to around 11:00am. Scone days are held on the fourth Friday of every month. Visitors can enjoy a delicious morning tea or phone in an order and pick up some freshly baked scones! South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low-income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $50 or $35 options to select food and the other items.
Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. AA meets in Murgon every Tuesday and Friday at 12:30pm at the Baptist Church at 94 Macalister Street. For more information, phone 1300-222-222.
