Aussie Camp Oven Dinner Under The Stars - Kingaroy
Hillview Cottages, at 297 Birt Road, is hosting a big camp oven dinner from 6:00pm tonight with a three-course camp oven dinner, cooked by the award-winning, "The Baitlayers", plus live music by Paul Ricketts and the opportunity to view the planets and constellations through two large digital telescopes. There will be licensed bar with local wines and selected beers. Relax around the firepits and enjoy the beauty of the night sky and the flavours and sounds of the South Burnett. An Evening With Clarrie & Clyde - Tablelands
The Tableland Hall Committee is presenting an evening with well-known country music entertainers Clarrie Weller and Clyde Cameron tonight at the hall at 459 Crownthorpe Road, Tablelands. The fun night (bring your dancing shoes and a sense of humour!) will also include well-known local artists Geoff & Sue. The entertainment will get under way at 5:00pm. Cost is $20 per person, a licensed bar will be operating and food will be available to buy. Unpowered camping is available in the hall grounds. For more information, phone 0400-697-300.
Mini Mods Carnival - Wondai
The South Burnett's annual Mini Mods rugby league carnival will be held at the Wondai Sportsgrounds on the Bunya Highway in Wondai today. This carnival always attracts hundreds of junior players aged from Under 12s from all over south-east Queensland. The action will start at 7:00am and continue through until around 5:00pm with round robin games played across multiple fields. Spectators and supporters are very welcome!
Nanango Homemade Market
Nanango craftspeople will be holding a boutique handmade market from 9:00am to 2:00pm today in the grounds of historic Ringsfield House, 41-45 Alfred Street, Nanango. This is an opportunity to support local small businesses. The markets are organised by the Nanango Homemade group and supported by NaTDA. Christmas In July - Ballogie
The Ballogie Community Association are holding a special Christmas In July celebration from 8:00am to 1:00pm at the Ballogie Community Block (opposite the Seilers Road turn-off). There'll be a carboot sale, children's activities and face-painting and free lolly bags for the kids. There'll also be a barbecue selling snags and hamburgers; raffles and lucky door prizes!.

Come & Try Dragon Boating - BP Dam
The Barambah Dragons dragon boat club invites people to try out the ancient Chinese sport of dragon boat racing at Bjelke-Petersen Dam from 9:00am (for a 9:30am paddle-off) on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Paddles and gear will be supplied but participants should wear closed shoes that can tolerate getting wet and bring along sunscreen, water, a towel and warm clothes for afterwards. The event is free and will be followed by a gold coin donation sausage sizzle. Everyone is welcome! NB. Check the club's Facebook page as times could change due to the weather.
Saturday Library Day - Maidenwell
The volunteers from the Maidenwell QCWA will be supervising the regular weekly Saturday Library Day (featuring books loaned from Kingaroy Library) from 2:00pm to 4:00pm this afternoon. A library day is held in the Maidenwell Hall in Pool Street every Wednesday and Saturday.
Go Getta Girls - Kingaroy
