Kingaroy Community Christmas Carols
The Kingaroy District Ministry Association’s traditional free Christmas Carols will be held tonight at the Kingaroy Town Hall in Glendon Street, with a great line-up of musical talent booked in. Food and drinks will be available to buy from 5:00pm with the carols getting under way at 6:00pm. “Grace Notes” will be performing, ie. Julee-anne Bell on lead vocals; Brett Chaseling on vocals and guitar; Gayle Pryce-Davies on keyboard and vocals; Carolyn Dingle on violin; and Matt Phillips on bass guitar. Matt will also lead an energetic, interactive children’s segment guaranteed to bring colour, laughter and joy to the night.
Christmas Carols - Murgon
The Combined Churches will be hosting Christmas Carols from 6:00pm this evening in the Rotunda in QEII Park in Lamb Street, Murgon. Bring along a chair and join in the night of carols!
Yarraman Christmas Carnival
This community celebration will get under way at 4:00pm in Errol Munt Sports Reserve in Margaret Street (New England Highway). There’ll be market stalls, food and drink, live music, a free jumping castle, $10 unlimited dodg’em cars, free face-painting plus a fireworks display! Entry is free and everyone is invited!
December Fly-In - Murgon
The Burnett Flyers have invited aviators to enjoy a "fly-in brekkie" from 7:30am this morning at Angelfield aerodrome, at the end of Macalister Street, Murgon. Cost for breakfast is $20, which includes tea and coffee (EFTPOS is available). RSVP by by email
Kingaroy Clay Target Club Shoot
The Kingaroy Clay Target Club holds a shoot from 9:30am on the first Sunday of every month at their range on the corner of Kingaroy-Cooyar Road and Aerodrome Road at Kingaroy. More information is available online
Linville Monthly Markets
The Linville Progress Association will be holding their monthly markets at Linville Community Hall from 7:00am to around 12:00 noon this morning. The markets have a great BBQ breakfast and lots of fresh produce, home-made foods, crafts and bric-a-brac and run on the first Sunday of each month. Everyone is welcome and potential new stallholders should contact the association by email
Jeanie Cuskelly - Linville
Jeanie Cuskelly will be making her debut performance at the Linville Hotel in George Street, Linville from 11:30amthis morning. The hotel's kitchen will also be operating from 11:00am for lunch, dinner and snacks and there's free camping across the road or paid accommodation at the pub if you want to stay overnight. Kumbia Museum
The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon. Community Pickleball - Woolooga
Woolooga Community Hall is hosting community pickleball every Sunday from 3:30pm at the hall at 8 Thomas Street, Woolooga. Everyone is welcome to come along, including beginners. All equipment is provided at the court, so just bring water!
Sunday Afternoon Poker - Kingaroy

Free Sunday Lunch - Kingaroy
A free community lunch is available every Sunday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at The Old Railway Station building, O'Neill Square, in Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.
