Easing Of COVID-19 Restrictions
- Queensland's COVID-19 lockdown restrictions will begin to ease from Stage 1 to Stage 2 from 12:00 noon today. The easing will allow Queenslanders to travel anywhere within the state (except for remote areas and discrete Indigenous communities such as Cherbourg); and restaurants, cafes and pubs that continue to operate under a COVID Safe checklist will be permitted to increase the total number of patrons from 10 to 20. Retail shopping for non-essentials is now permitted and up to 20 visitors can also visit a dwelling (and they do not need to be from the same household). You can find out more about the new restrictions on our website.
