Smart Exhibiting Workshop - Kingaroy
- The Australian Industry Group, DEEDI and the South Burnett Regional Council are jointly sponsoring a "Smart Exhibiting" workshop in Kingaroy today for the benefit of businesses and non-profit groups who regularly exhibit at conferences, trade shows, conventions and similar gatherings. Ron McDermott, a leading trade show and exhibition trainer, will be leading this half day workshop which will cover all aspects of successful exhibiting. The workshop will be held at the Taabinga Room of the old DPI offices at 214 Cooyar Road in Kingaroy from 9:00am to 12:00 noon. Active Local Parks - Kingaroy
- RHealth will run the second of a series of four weekly "Active Local Parks" sessions at Memorial Park in Haly Steet, Kingaroy from 9:15am to 10:30am this morning. The event allows participants to try a variety of fitness activities (including yoga and fitness circuits) with local, qualified fitness instructors. - The Kingaroy Friendly Art Group (the "Art Geckos") will be holding their regular Tuesday morning meeting at the 1913 Council Chambers in Edward Street, Kingaroy at 9:30am this morning. Community Bank Meeting - Nanango
- Anyone interested in the concept of a Community Bank in Nanango is invited to attend a Wine and Cheese night at 7:00pm this evening in the old Westpac building on the corner of Fitzroy and Drayton streets in Nanango - the location of the South Burnett's next Bendigo Bank Community Branch. The get-together will feature wines from Moffatdale Ridge and cheese from Goomeri Cheeseworld.
