Healthy Communities Breakfast - Proston
The South Burnett Regional Council will be holding a free community breakfast at the Proston State School in Proston from 7:00am to 9:00am this morning to help launch the Healthy Communities lifestyle program across the region. Healthy Communities is an Australian Government funded initiative designed to promote better eating and exercise and in addition to a free chow-down there'll also be prize giveaways donated by Struddy's Sports World and Sunshine Mitre 10 in Kingaroy; a live broadcast by CROW-FM 90.7; and fun activities as well. Cards & Bowls Afternoon - Kingaroy
- The Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club will be holding their regular Monday afternoon indoor bowls and cards competitions at their centre on the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy (opposite Super IGA) from 1:00pm onwards today.
