Songbirds Of The Fabulous 40s - Nanango
By popular demand, the Nanango Theatre Company will be presenting the third and final performance of Songbirds of the Fabulous 40s (performed by Linda Hall and Julee-Anne Bell) at their playhouse in Elk Street, Nanango at 3:00pm this afternoon. Linda and Julie will be performing all the great swing hits of the WWII era, and the last two shows were completely booked out. The new monthly Sunday Sidewalk Sale - which runs on the 3rd Sunday of every month - will be held in Drayton Street, Nanango from 7:00am to around 1:00pm this morning. The Sidewalk Sale aims to inject some life and colour into Nanango's CBD on a Sunday, and today's Sidewalk Sale is expected to have over 14 different stands plus a sausage sizzle if you get hungry or thirsty while you browse the goods on offrer. Western Performance Club Futurity Show - Nanango
The South Burnett Western Performance Club will be holding a Futurity Show at their grounds in Racecourse Road, Nanango from 9:00am to around 3:00pm today. Judge Peter Belden will be presiding over this AQHA and PHAA-approved event, which will be run under AQHA rules. New riders are very welcome (membership of the club is just $10 for participants) and a canteen will be running throughout. Spectators are very welcome to come along too, and there's no admission charge.
