Burrandowan Campdraft
- The final day of the annual Burrandowan Campdraft will be held at the Burrandowan Race Track 60km south-west of Kingaroy from 5:30am this morning through until late this afternoon. The Campdraft is a fund-raiser for the Burrandowan Picnic Races and today's campdrafting action will feature Ladies, Junior, Juvenile, Novice and Restricted Open drafts. Admission to the Campdraft is 100% free for spectators and open-air camping facilities, hot showers, power and a limited number of horse stalls are available onsite. A fully licensed bar and canteen will be operating over the entire weekend. Last year the popular Campdraft had to be cancelled due to the 2011 floods, but this year's looks like attracting a very big roll-up indeed. More details? Phone Cath Fairbairn on (07) 4164-4126.
